Born and raised in Offenburg in the Black Forest, I have been living together with my husband, originally from Northern Ireland, and our 3 children in beautiful Central Switzerland since 2009.<\/p>\n
Since the birth of our eldest in 2008, I have had an inner desire to become a doula myself and to support other women on the beautiful journey of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. We were living in Singapore at the time of his birth and met our future doula at the antenatal class she was running. After the course, it was clear to my husband and me that with this woman by our side, we would be in good hands. And that’s how it was: she was an interesting conversational partner, always present when she was needed, but also reserved and hands-off when we as a couple were making good progress alone. She was our rock and always had the right tips at hand.<\/p>\n
After this powerful and eventful birth, my husband and I were able to start the adventure of parenthood strengthened and full of self-confidence in ourselves, my body and our intuition.<\/p>\n

Three more pregnancies followed: an early miscarriage in late 2009, our middle daughter in November 2010, who was born in the Kantonsspital in Zug, and then our youngest daughter, who peacefully entered the world at home in August 2015.<\/p>\n
In my free time, I like to spend time with family and friends in the mountains, summer and winter, skiing is one of my great passions. The other is volleyball. I still actively play and have been coaching the U13 girls in our local club for a few years, which I really enjoy.<\/p>\n

Mein Mann und ich haben uns zu jederzeit absolut gut betreut gef\u00fchlt von Sybille. Wir haben uns bereits im Voraus mit ihr getroffen um unsere W\u00fcnsche und Erwartungen f\u00fcr die Geburt zu besprechen, so wussten wir genau, dass sie diese jederzeit vertreten wird.<\/p>\n
Sybille war um den Geburtstermin herum jederzeit f\u00fcr uns erreichbar und hat sich auch immer wieder bei uns erkundigt wie es uns geht.<\/p>\n
W\u00e4hrend der Geburt war Sybille die gesamte Zeit \u00fcber bei uns und hat uns sehr gut unterst\u00fctzt. Da die Hebammen an diesem Tag viel zu tun hatten, waren wir sehr froh Sybille bei uns zu haben, da es uns sehr viel Sicherheit gegeben hat.<\/p>\n
Auch nach der Geburt war Sybille eine grosse Hilfe und hat uns sehr unterst\u00fctzt. Wir w\u00fcrden Sybille jederzeit wieder als Doula engagieren.<\/p>\n

Da wir dies alles im Voraus besprochen hatten mussten meine Frau und ich uns nicht damit befassen w\u00e4hrend der Geburt, sondern dies hat alles Sybille f\u00fcr uns \u00fcbernommen.<\/p>\n
F\u00fcr mich als Ehemann war es auch wichtig zu wissen, wenn ich eine Pause brauchte oder etwas besorgen musste, das jederzeit jemand bei meiner Frau war, der mich vertreten konnte.<\/p>\n
Als die Geburt los ging, war Sybille sofort erreichbar und vor Ort, obwohl es mitten in der Nacht war.<\/p>\n
Vor allen fanden wir es sehr sch\u00f6n, dass Sybille viele Fotos w\u00e4hrend der Geburt machte, die wir selber sonst nie h\u00e4tten machen k\u00f6nnen. C’est une exp\u00e9rience formidable et je recommande vivement Sybille qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 une v\u00e9ritable \u00e9paule pour moi et ma famille- Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 elle nous avons pu aborder cet accouchement sereinement dans un nouveau pays dont nous ne connaissions pas encore le fonctionnement pour la maternit\u00e9. Elle a su nous guider parfaitement pour chaque \u00e9tape, choix de la clinique, propositions d’alternatives naturelles d’aide \u00e0 la douleur. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 comme un membre de notre famille et nous la consid\u00e9rons comme une marraine pour notre fille. <\/p>\n
